When design is well-executed, users rarely notice its presence; they simply feel empowered, satisfied, and focused on what truly matters. This is the true power of product design and UX: solving problems so efficiently and elegantly that it becomes almost imperceptible.

I'm Diego, a product designer for over 9 years, with a specialization in designOps.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work on B2B and B2C projects in sectors such as fintechs, SasS, Mobtech, and Telcom. Companies/startups that have been part of my journey include: Vivo, Itaú, Bradesco, Shell, Santander, Will Bank, Bees Bank, and Gipsyy.

I have a diverse set of skills that include collaboration and facilitation, developing UI/UX workflows, creatively solving problems, information design, and data analysis/visualization. Additionally, I'm always involved in side projects to help the design community and develop myself: I was responsible for creating one of the first designOps courses in Brazil and participated in startup acceleration programs and hackathons.

I'm also a co-leader at DesignOps Assembly Brazil, a global organization that connects DesignOps professionals with the goal of learning from each other and creating networking opportunities and events. My mission within the design community is to simplify and teach about design leadership and operations, sharing content and tools.

My design principles

My design principles

Kaizen Mindset

The word 'Kaizen' means continuous improvement.

I adopt this for personal/professional life -

There is always room to improve our designs,

one iteration at a time.

Humans, not users

A good design balances aesthetics and functionality while demonstrating empathy for user emotions, behaviors, and tasks to be performed.

Collaboration is everything

Working collectively stimulates creativity,

promoting an environment where insights

shared lead to truly innovative and inclusive results
